FIRST LEG
The second season of The Amazing Race Teen Edition began at Starbucks Café, Sunway Pyramid. As soon as the clues were handed out, all teams found out that they have to head to the parking machine at Level 9 to find for their next clue. All 5 teams went in their own direction hoping to find an escalator. Wan Jun & Eng Khim was the first ones on the first lift down. Soon, team Matthew & Alan joined them in the same lift. As the doors of the lift were about to shut, Adrienne & Marissa managed squeeze themselves in- securing them in the first lift together with the two teams.
The three teams in the first lift were the first ones to get the next clue. Then, the teams discovered a Detour. A Detour is a choice between two tasks. In this Detour, teams have to make a decision whether to find their next clue at And Be or MDS. Wan Jun & Eng Khim and Matthew & Alan opted for And Be whereas Adrienne & Marissa chose MDS. In the mean time, Michelle & Ivy took the second lift down and head for their next clue while Brian & Yongming struggling to find out their way to Level 9. Matthew & Alan were the first team to find their next clue in front of And Be then followed by Wan Jun & Eng Khim. On the other hand, Adrienne & Marissa also got hold of her next clue at MDS. A couple of minutes behind, Michelle & Ivy soon completed their Detour. The next clue directed them to a fountain where snowflakes, sleigh and snowman can be found around it. The game was all evened up as all 5 teams struggled to search for the correct fountain. Matthew & Alan who were currently at first place took the initiative to ask the person at the counter. Wan Jun & Eng Khim also decided to follow their footsteps in asking the counter person. Matthew & Alan took a longer route to the fountain which enable team Wan Jun & Eng Khim to catch up. It was a neck and neck foot battle to the fountain. As both the leading teams read their clue, they were required to search for their next clue at the TV section in a store owned by Francis Teng. Not knowing that the store mentioned in the clue is actually Giant Hypermarket, both teams searched in various shops in Sunway Pyramid which sell TVs. Both Matthew & Alan and Wan Jun & Eng Khim accidentally bumped onto each other at Parkson Hypermarket. Later, Matthew & Alan realized that they were searching in the wrong shop and decided to search in Giant instead. Lucky for them, they managed to find their next clue which instructed them to
SECOND LEG
Teams will depart the Pit Stop 1 minute after one another according to the order of the arrival of teams in the previous leg. Wan Jun & Eng Khim who were the first to check in the Pit Stop will depart at 1:40pm followed by Matthew & Alan at 1:41pm then Adrienne & Marissa at 1:42pm and lastly Michelle & Ivy at 1:43pm.
Wan Jun & Eng Khim opened their clue written number “31” on it. Not knowing what the clue meant, they were forced to tail behind team Matthew & Alan who departed the pit stop a minute after them. Matthew & Alan who knew that the number “31” represents Baskin Robbins soon realized that Wan Jun & Eng Khim were tailing them behind. Matthew & Alan tried to avoid them by running in another direction away from Baskin Robbins. This has resulted the two teams to fall behind. Adrienne & Marissa and Michelle & Ivy took the advantage as they were the first 2 teams to claim their clue which told them to head to Yo-Yo Snack Bar then followed by Matthew & Alan who eventually managed to get rid of team Wan Jun & Eng Khim. Adrienne & Marissa had problems navigating with the map costing them their lead. Michelle & Ivy were the first ones to get their clue at Yo-Yo Snack bar while Adrienne & Marissa in second who were back on track. Not far behind, Matthew & Alan also received their next clue. All teams encountered a Detour. This detour offered teams a choice between Pink Panther or Black and White. All teams opted for Pink Panther. Teams Michelle & Ivy, Adrienne & Marissa and Matthew & Alan caught up at The Pink Panther shop and soon found their next clue which leads them to the Sunway Travel agency. Adrienne & Marissa, Michelle & Ivy and Matthew & Alan were first, second and third teams to arrive at the agency respectively. Then all teams were requested to head to the Starbucks café to retrieve their next clue. Matthew & Alan ran their hearts out and their determination landed them as the first team to receive the clue situated in Starbucks. As they read the clue, they found out that the Pit Stop will be at the entrance of Sunway Lagoon. Team Matthew & Alan continued running to the Pit Stop and sailed themselves in first place with an outstanding 12 minute lead against the teams behind. As Matthew & Alan reached the Pit Stop, both teams Adrienne & Marissa and Michelle & Ivy were just about to make their way to the Pit Stop after claiming their final clue of the leg at Starbucks. It was Adrienne & Marissa who checked in second while Michelle & Ivy in third just two minutes after Adrienne & Marissa. Wan Jun & Eng Khim who both departed the Pit Stop in first ended up in last place, having come to terms with their impending elimination. To their surprise, Sheng Ling, the host informed them that this was a non-elimination leg. However, they will have to leave the Pit Stop 5 minutes after team number 1 as a penalty for being last in a non-elimination leg.
THIRD LEG
Matthew & Alan who checked in the
pit stop in first will depart at 2:04pm followed by Adrienne & Marissa and
Michelle & Ivy. With the 5 minutes penalty given, Wan Jun & Eng Khim
had to depart at 2:09pm,
Matthew & Alan were the first to reach Cheetah but miss looked at the clue envelope pasted on the wall in front of Cheetah. Then they decided to search at C Union resulting them to fall behind. Adrienne & Marissa who departed a minute after team Matthew & Alan at the Pit Stop were the first team to find their next clue which leaded them to a watch shop which has a poster of Kimi Raikonnen and Brat Pitt.
There are several watch shops in Sunway Pyramid but only one shop has the poster of Raikonnen and Pitt. Michelle & Ivy were the next to claim their clue and soon joined Adrienne & Marissa in the search for the right watch shop. Wan Jun & Eng Khim soon managed to catch up with the lead teams. Meanwhile Matthew & Alan had a hard time searching for the clue. They repeatedly went back and forth from C Union to Cheetah causing them to fall way behind the pack.
Adrienne & Marissa maintained their number one lead as they were the first to find the right watch shop which was actually Watatime, Wan Jun & Eng Khim managed to overtake Michelle & Ivy on the way to Watatime. From there, teams have to head to MPH to receive their next clue.
Meanwhile, after falling to spot the clue for a couple of times, Matthew & Alan finally managed to find their clue and immediately move on the race. The unfortunate team had another break down as they were unable to search for the correct watch shop. At MPH, Adrienne & Marissa were the first team to arrive followed by Wan Jun & Eng Khim in second and Michelle and Ivy in third. Next the teams were requested to go to Studio R to retrieve their next clue, Again, Adrienne & Marissa leaded the pack. As they read the clue, both Adrienne & Marissa found out that they had to head to the cinema which would be the Pit Stop for this leg of the race. Adrienne & Marissa then sailed to the Pit Stop in first. Meanwhile, as they checked in the Pit Stop, Matthew & Alan were stuck at the MPH bookstore. The team who was currently at last place was forced pause for 2 minutes before continuing the race due to the yield accessed by Adrienne & Marissa.
As Wan Jun & Eng Khim received their clue at Studio R, they pushed their way to the Pit Stop without any hesitation. As Wan Jun & Eng Khim were on pitting their way to the Pit Stop, Michelle & Ivy reached Studio R and followed them to the Pit Stop. It was Wan Jun & Eng Khim who appeared in second place followed by Michelle & Ivy in third.
In the mean time, after the 2 minutes Yield, Matthew & Alan left for Studio R and head to the Pit Stop. Knowing that it will be an elimination leg, team Matthew & Alan raced to the Pit Stop in hopes of catching up the teams ahead. Matthew & Alan who had a bumpy start was the second team to be eliminated from The Amazing Race Teen Edition season 2.
FINALE
Adrienne & Marissa who were the
first to arrive the pit stop will depart the Pit Stop with a 1 minute of lead
advantage against team Wan Jun and Eng Khim who arrived in second. Departing two
minutes after the first team is Michelle & Ivy. Teams were told to find the
biggest lift in Sunway Pyramid which is situated near Dunkin Donut.
Both teams Adrienne & Marissa and Wan Jun & Eng Khim had troubles searching for the lift. This has given Michelle & Ivy a lead against the two teams. Team Michelle & Ivy who were the first team to claim their clue in front of the lift were instructed to head to I Need House. Followed behind were Adrienne & Marisssa and lastly Wan Jun & Eng Khim.
Michelle & Ivy managed to maintain their new found lead as they were the first team to receive their clue at I Need House. The clue instructed them to take a picture of the view of Sunway Lagoon and after taking the picture, head to the bowling alley where the host will meet them there.
After taking a picture of the scenery, both of them head to the bowling alley. Adrienne & Marissa did no bring their camera forcing them to look for a camera. This has caused them to lose a lot of time resulting team Wan Jun & Eng Khim to catch up behind.
Meanwhile, Michelle & Ivy were racing to the bowling alley and found the host waiting at the entrance. Little did they know, the race has not ended as Sheng Ling gave them their clue. They were requested to search for the next clue hidden somewhere in the entire bowling alley. As they took their sweet time searching for the clue, Adrienne & Marissa reached to the bowling alley and were shocked to know that they had been yielded by Michelle & Ivy. After 5 miserably minutes of searching for the clue which was actually hidden behind one of the chairs in the bowling alley, team Michelle & Ivy finally managed to spot the clue and discovered that they had to head to the former LRT station in front of Sunway Pyramid. As they were about to leave, Adrienne & Marissa continued the race and started to search for the clue. Team Adrienne & Marissa had little problems in finding for the clue causing them to catch up with the lead team. As they were leaving for they next clue, Wan Jun & Eng Khim appeared at the bowling alley and soon started on their search for their next clue. At the LRT station, Michelle & Ivy had problems searching for the clue allowing Adrienne & Marissa to catch up just right behind them. Adrienne & Marissa joined Michelle & Ivy in searching the next clue. While both teams struggled to search for their clue, Wan Jun & Eng Khim managed to catch up the lead teams after constantly being at the bottom of the pack. Few seconds after team Wan Jun & Eng Khim’s arrival, Michelle & Ivy and Adrienne & Marissa spotted their clue instructing them to the finish line which was at the outlet bazaar.

her teammate, Adrienne was not with her, forcing her to surrender the number
one spot toteam Michelle & Ivy. Hence, Michelle & Ivy are the official winners of The Amazing Race Teen Edition season 2 with Adrienne & Marissa as the first runner up. Few minutes later, Wan Jun & Eng Khim eventually finished the Race in third place.
